What is DataViz In-Product Communication?

Answer:

Certain DataViz products include technology that periodically, if an internet connection is available, contacts DataViz servers with information regarding your installed product and your handheld device. The application that is collecting this data is dvzincmsgr.exe. The primary reasons DataViz is collecting this data are as follows:

• To notify our customers of free product updates, product upgrades, special offers, and other personalized services.
• To collect statistical usage data in order to understand how our customers are using our products. This will enable us to focus our product development efforts accordingly.
