Question:
How do I uninstall Documents To Go 6.0?
Answer:
If you choose to uninstall Documents To Go at any point simply use the following steps:
Uninstall Documents To Go from the Computer:
1. From the Start menu, select Programs: Documents To Go
2. Select "Uninstall Documents To Go"
3. Click Yes to confirm deletion of Documents To Go. Windows will then uninstall the software.
Or
1. From the Start menu, select Settings: Control Panel.
2. Double-click to open the Add/Remove Programs control panel.
3. Choose Documents To Go from the list of software applications and click Add/Remove.
4. Click Yes to confirm deletion of Documents To Go. Windows will then uninstall the software.
Note:
When uninstalling you will uninstall Documents To Go for ALL handheld users and will remove their desktop data. Doing this will in no way affect the original word processing documents and spreadsheets on your desktop computer. However, if you do reinstall Documents To Go, you will need to reestablish the links to those documents.
Uninstall Documents To Go from the Handheld:
(On a Palm III ? or newer handheld)
1. Tap the Applications button (House icon).
2. Tap the Menu button (below the House icon).
3. Select Delete from the App menu.
4. Select "Documents", then tap delete.
5. Tap "Yes" when asked if you want to delete the application and all its data.
6. Repeats 3 thru 5 for the other applications from Documents To Go:
- DGraphConverter
- DSLib
- DXTGAttachmentPlugin
- English_Am.lex (Premium Edition Only; if using another Spell Check Dictionary "English" will be replaced with the language)
- English_AM.usr.lex (Premium Edition Only and if added words to the Spell Check dictionary)
- GraphicsLibrary
- Inbox To Go (Premium Edition Only)
- LexLib (Premium Edition Only)
- Pics To Go (Premium Edition Only)
- Sheet To Go
- SlideShow To Go (Professional and Premium Editions Only)
- SmartChart (Premium Edition Only)
- SS_P2P
- Word To Go
- Word To Go Fonts
- WP_P2P
NOTE: Documents To Go can then be reinstalled to the handheld at any time. To reinstall, simply select the "Re-install Handheld Applications" option from the Documents To Go program group ( From the Start menu, select Programs: Documents To Go).
