Question:
Does Beyond Contacts sync with my Palm's built-in Contacts database so I can work with my Caller ID, Speed Dial, or Voice Dial?
Answer:
You must have version 3.008 (or higher) of Beyond Contacts installed to take advantage of the Voice Dial, Caller ID, or Speed Dial functions of your smartphone device with Beyond Contacts. You can download the latest version from the DataViz download site:

Enable synchronization with the built-in Contacts database:

To enable the option to sync with the built-in Contacts database:

Click the HotSync Manager icon near the clock in the bottom right corner of the PC screen

Select Custom

Select the Beyond Contacts conduit, then click the Change button

Click on the Contacts Options button

Click the check box for "Enable syncronization with the built-in Contacts database"

Click OK to close this window

Click OK the close the syncronization setting window

Click Done to close the Custom window

Your contact data from Beyond Contacts will copy itself into your built-in Contacts database so that it is available to use in the Caller ID, Speed Dial, and Voice Dial features of your smartphone. Beyond Contacts will synchronize the name, company name, email address, and phone number fields to the built-in Contacts database.
