Note: The term "Read Only" means you can translate your AppleWorks 6 files into other applications such as Word or Excel. If you wish to translate files such as Word or Excel into AppleWorks 6, you can use the MacLinkPlus Deluxe translator called "AppleWorks 6 via AppleWorks 5". This means MacLinkPlus Deluxe will convert your files to AppleWorks 5 and AppleWorks 6 will open them automatically. The same holds true for all other "Read Only" translators included with MacLinkPlus Deluxe.
New Features
- Create Translation Settings for Fast and Simple Document Conversion
Now you no longer need to remember which file formats are needed by your clients, associates, friends, etc. Create a setting for each one and simply select it when converting documents for them. MacLinkPlus Deluxe will convert a word processing, spreadsheet, database or graphic file to the appropriate format required! Just select the specified formats once and name each setting. Translating files for specific people couldn't be easier.
- QuickTime Viewing and Printing
MacLinkPlus Deluxe now works with QuickTime for better JPEG and GIF viewing. You can also print any text or graphic file being viewed by MacLinkPlus Deluxe.
- Better support for Applescript
The Mac OS language, Applescript, is the easiest way to control and automate tasks on your Mac. MacLinkPlus Deluxe now offers full dictionaries that allow for greater integration with Applescript.

Our newest release includes Macintosh PC Exchange Version 2, an Apple utility that allows you to mount DOS disks, removable media like SyQuest and Bernoulli and also SCSI hard disks and floptical drives. Also included is the new utility DataViz FileView which gives you a quick view of virtually any file's text, as well as information on using the file in your Mac application.

Macintosh Easy Open, an Apple extension allowing "double-click and drag-on" translation was added. The MacLinkPlus translation library could be accessed through Microsoft Works (Mac).
