Does Beyond Contacts support Windows Vista?
Question:Does Beyond Contacts support Windows Vista? Answer:Yes, support for Windows Vista was added in version 3.0083 of Beyond Contacts. It requires Palm Desktop 6.2 (or higher) to be installed on the Vista computer. Beyond Contacts version 3.0082 and lower will not work properly on Vista, regardless of which version of Palm Desktop is installed. The installer for the latest version of Beyond Contacts can be downloaded from the DataViz download site:
If you already have Palm Desktop 6.2 (or higher) installed on your Vista computer, you can download and install the updated version of Beyond Contacts. Save the installer file to your computer. Once the download is complete, open that file to start the installation, then follow the on-screen steps. If you do not have Palm Desktop 6.2 (or higher) installed on your Vista computer, you will need to install it first, before you install Beyond Contacts. Previous versions of the Palm Desktop software (4.2 and lower) did not fully support Windows Vista. In order to install and synchronize Beyond Contacts on Windows Vista, you must have Palm Desktop 6.2 or higher installed. According to Palm, it only supports the following handheld models:
