Question:

How do I delete files from a BlackBerry device?

Answer:

On a BlackBerry handheld, files are stored in folders just like they are on a desktop computer. Documents To Go is not used to delete files from the handheld, just as Word, Excel, and PowerPoint are not used to delete files from a computer. In order to delete files from a BlackBerry device, you will need to use the Media application, which has the ability to browse through folders and files on the device memory and media card:

1. Open the Media application on your BlackBerry
2. Press the Menu button and select Explore
3. Browse to the location of the file you want to delete, and highlight that file
4. Press the Menu button and select Delete
5. Select the Delete button to confirm you want to delete that file
