How can I copy files to or from my iPad/iPhone/iPod touch?
Answer:
There are several ways to copy or synchronize files between your device and computer:
Desktop Synchronization
You can synchronize files & folders between your computer and device by downloading and installing "Documents To Go Desktop for iPhone" on your Windows or Mac computer and pairing it with Documents To Go on the device. This requires the device to be connected via Wi-Fi to the same network as the computer.
Cloud Storage('Documents To Go Premium' only)
You can synchronize files from your Google Docs, Box.net, Dropbox, MobileMe iDisk, or SugarSync account directly in Documents To Go. Any changes you make can be saved and synchronized back to the online account. You can also create new files in Documents To Go and upload them to your account.
iTunes File Sharing(iPad or iOS 4 device required)
You can copy files to or from Documents To Go on your iPad (OS 3.2) or iOS 4 device by connecting it to a computer via USB and using the File Sharing feature in iTunes. Although this method will not synchronize changes to your files, it is a very easy way to copy files to/from the device.
Email Attachments If you have an iPhone or iPod Touch with OS 3.0 or 3.1, you can sync supported email attachments to Documents To Go from your Gmail or Microsoft Exchange account (Exchange attachments supported in 'Documents To Go Premium' only).
If you have an iPad, iPhone 4 or other iOS 4 device, you can open supported attachments in Documents To Go directly from the built-in "Mail" app. That means you can open attachments in Documents To Go regardless of what type of email account is set up in Mail.
