Question:

I already purchased the full version but I receive the error "Buy Full Version" in Documents To Go Desktop for Android when trying to pair or synchronize Documents To Go with my Android.

 

Answer:

You may see this message for the following reasons:

  1. If you purchased from the Android Market, you may have the Documents To Go Full Version 2.0 key installed instead of the 3.0 key

Solution: You need to update both the Main app and the Full Version Key from the Android Market

1)     Launch the Market application on the Android phone

2)     Select the Search menu, and search for "Documents To Go"

3)     This should list two applications: "Documents To Go 3.0 Main App" and "Documents To Go Full version Key 3.0"

4)     Select each app and install the updated versions

  1. You may only have the free viewer installed

Solution:  Please follow the instructions here to activate your viewer

  1. The Documents To Go Application may not be opened yet.

Solution: The Documents To Go application on your Android needs to be opened at least one time in order for the desktop application to be able to recognize that the application exists on the Android

  1. The Android is not connected via the USB cable

Solution: Please connect your Android to your computer via the USB cable and mount the SD card
